“Peaceful retreat. Great location” We enjoyed our two nights at the Enchanted Cottage. It was cool and rainy and the fireplace was great. Enjoyed the scenery, the streams, the Floyd Country Store and Micky Gs for lunch.

“Excellent "headquarter" for exploring Shenandoah” We stayed for a week and was very satisfied with both location and the room and its facilities. Their was always a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the landscape or read regardless of the weather - either on the lawn or on the porch. We were primarily interested in hiking in the surrounding mountains and visiting historic sites and for that it was a perfect "headquarter" for the week we stayed.

“Great VT Football Weekend Getaway” We spent a weekend here in the fall of 2013 for a VT football weekend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The setting is absolutely beautiful, right on the lake. It was an easy drive to Blacksburg for the game and you get to avoid a lot of traffic because you don't need to get on I-81. The best part - barely any cell service so you truly can get away! The owner is really responsive and flexible.

“Great House to Rent” If you are looking for a house for a large group(we had 15), this was a fantastic house. It was well equipped with kitchen equipment, enough dishes, silverware, etc and had great serveware. We had our wedding on the beach right behind the house and held a mini reception on the back bottom deck for about 20 people. It was perfect, we even used some of the serveware and decorations for the wedding itself. The views in the morning were amazing to wake up to with all the windows in the living room. My only complaint is that the grill was disgusting and it did not work. It would have been nice to grill out, but I got over it. Sandbridge was a great company to work with. We arrived to a gift bag with some helpful information to make our stay great.

“Fantastic family reunion location!,” We were 4 couples, 3 generations with grandkids ranging from 14.5 to 2.5. Galaxsea allowed us the rooms each family needed, the game room in case of bad weather (none, but you can't count on that), the big kitchen/eating room locationa and tv ( which was rarely on), and the facilities we even didn't know we needed likr the outside shower and sand toys. We ate "in" all breakfasts and most lunches, some dinners were out, but we did take turns cooking and cleaning. The beach was so accessible with the walkway next to the property and we also enjoyed trips to view dolphins, adventure climbing, kayaking and I even arranged to have a great photographer Brandi to take some beach/fsmily pictures. A/c and wifi were available. Arrangements were easily made with Sandbridge and their staff was very responsive to my many questions as a first-timer. I would highly recommend Galaxsea and Sanbridge

“One to remember!!” A great home with lots of room and plenty of things to do for everyone. Loved the size of the home, the layout was great, and hot tub and game table were a plus. We used it for a family get together. Located a short walk to the beach, will recommend it to a large family.
